MRWPCA operates the regional wastewater treatment
plant; maintains 25 wastewater pump stations; and operates the
water recycling facility and manages the distribution system
that provides irrigation water to 12,000 acres of farmland. The
agency serves Del Rey Oaks, Monterey, Pacific Grove, Salinas,
Sand City, Seaside, Boronda, Castroville, Moss Landing, Fort
Ord, Monterey County, and Marina.

Monthly Public Tours Slated for 2012: Public tours of the award winning MRWPCA facility are now available the 3rd Friday of each month from 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Bring comfy walking shoes and a warm jacket as we tour the Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant and the Salinas Valley Reclamation Project.
