MRWPCA is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Construction Management Services for the Advanced Water Purification Facility and Product Water Pump Station Project.  The qualified firm will provide construction management services using our Construction Management Software Procore (www.procore.com), and inspection services during construction of this project. 
 
The Project will be funded by the following funding sources: Clean Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) and Proposition 1 Recycled Water Grant Program (Proposition 1)

MRWPCA is seeking qualified firms to provide engineering design services for the Salinas Industrial Wastewater and Storm Water Storage and Recovery Project located near Salinas, California. The project would include new wet wells, valve boxes, pipelines, and a new return pump station at the Salinas Industrial Wastewater Treatment Facility on Davis Road near the Salinas River south of the City of Seaside. In addition, an existing, abandoned industrial wastewater pipeline is proposed to be slip-lined to convey water from the Salinas Industrial Wastewater Treatment Facility to the Salinas Pump Station.

The Project will be funded by the following funding sources: Clean Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) and Proposition 1 Stormwater Grant (Proposition 1).

NOTICE: INVITING PROPOSALS FOR Annual Maintenance – SVRP Chlorination System. The system consists of Liquid Chlorine Evaporators, Chlorinators, Chlorine Injection, Chlorine Gas Scrubber and associated conveyance and safety systems.   The tentative start of annual maintenance is expected to be November 15, 2016 with a scheduled completion date of January 15, 2016.

MRWPCA is seeking qualified firms to develop a Master Plan for the Agency's ten pump stations. The purpose of the study is to develop a Master Plan for all facilities outside the boundaries of Regional Treatment Plant existing and planned. The Master Plan will include flow monitoring, hydraulic modeling, analysis of system condition, and preparation of a capital improvement program. This project is scheduled to be awarded at the October 31, 2016 Board Meeting.

Work comprises of installing cleanouts on three 6-inch primary sludge lines.  The work includes, but is not limited to the following:  excavation, dewatering, shoring, removing and installing new piping, valves, and cleanouts, valve box riser, valve box, valve stem extension, backfilling, etc.

Advanced Water Purification Facility and Product Water Pump Station Project

The Project work covered by the Contract Documents includes construction, testing and startup of a 4-million gallon per day capacity Advanced Water Purification Facility (AWPF) and Product Water Pump Station. The work includes the following major components, including but not limited to:
Construction of a below-grade source water diversion manhole on the existing RTP effluent pipeline.
Construction of a below-grade source water pump station for conveyance of secondary effluent to the AWPF.
Construction of liquid oxygen and ozone facilities.
Construction of membrane filtration (MF) facilities.
Construction of reverse osmosis (RO) facilities.
Construction of ultraviolet light and advanced oxidation process (UV-AOP) facilities.
Construction of above-grade welded steel MF Feed and MF Filtrate Storage Tanks
Construction of four pre-engineered metal buildings to house the Ozone, Membrane- AOP, Chemical and electrical equipment.
Construction of post-treatment decarbonator and liquid lime stabilization facilities.
Construction of a below-grade product water pump station (PWPS) to pump the purified product water to a purified water reservoir located offsite.
Construction of product water pipeline from the PWPS to the connection point on the
Product Water Conveyance Pipeline.
Construction of a waste equalization pump station for collection and neutralization of process residual wastes and return to the head of the RTP.
Construction of a Medium Voltage (21KV) Switchgear for connection to PG&E, two transformers, and two Low Voltage (480 V)  Switchgear, associated 480 volt  motor control centers, variable frequency drives, wiring, conduit, power poles and associated equipment and controls to power the AWPF and PWPS project from the PG&E primary service.
Construction of a Medium Voltage (21KV) power system from the adjacent Monterey Regional Waste Management District (WMD) Co-Generation Facility over to, and connecting to the AWPF Medium Voltage system.  Note that this item is a separate Bid Item with an initial placeholder allowance. The final design for this item will be provided during construction and an RFQ will be issued for this work.
Instrumentation, controls, PLC and SCADA programming for the AWPF project, including incorporating the PLC programming prepared by the pre-procured equipment Suppliers into the overall AWPF project PLC and SCADA Controls system.
Facility startup, testing, and training.
Construction of all other associated demolition, site work, utilities, yard piping, electrical work, painting, landscaping.

Seaside Pump Station Wet Well Cleaning Project

Pump Station 13 Valve Replacement and Upgrades Project
This project includes mechanical and electrical upgrades to increase the pump station's reliability and to further protect the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. The project is currently being designed by V.W. Housen & Associates. Construction is expected to begin in April 2017.
Pre-Bid Conference/Public Workshop for the Advanced Water Purification Facility and Product Water Pump Station Project
Summary of Work: The Project work covered by the Project includes construction, testing and startup of a 4 million-gallon-per-day (mgd) capacity Advanced Water Purification Facility (AWPF) and Product Water Pump Station.
The Project will be funded by the following funding sources: Clean Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) and Proposition 1 Recycled Water Program (Prop 1) Grant.  Bids must comply with all requirements associated with these funding sources, including, but not limited to, USEPA DBE compliance and American Iron and Steel.

Staff of the Monterey Regional Water Pollution Control Agency will hold a pre-bid conference / public workshop on this project. Participation in this public meeting is optional but encouraged.
