Unless otherwise indicated, prebid meetings are held at the Regional Treatment Plant (14811 Del Monte Boulevard, Marina); bid openings are held at the Agency’s Administrative Offices (5 Harris Court, Bldg D, Monterey). Please contact the project manager for directions if needed.
| Primary Clarifier Pump Pit Roof Replacement |
Bid Summary |
| The Primary Clarifier Pump Pit is a sunken structure between Clarifiers 1 through 4 which contains several sludge pumps and other equipment. Originally the pump pit had a roof to protect the equipment from exposure due to the elements. The previous roof structure has since been removed due to corrosion.
The Primary Clarifier Pump Pit Roof Replacement project consists of installation of a new protective roof structure. The new metal roof decking and structural framing will be painted with a corrosion resistant coating system. The new roof will also have removable transluscent hatches to allow for equipment removal.

| Rehabilitation of the influent manhole and sluice gate vault structure at Castroville Pump Station which includes, but is not limited to, the following: bypass pumping, repair to the concrete structures (hydroblasting or abrasive blasting the surface, resurfacing, and coating the structures), coating of steel and cast iron items including the sluice gate, replacement of the sluice gate operator, and miscellaneous demolition work. |

| Facility Upgrades – Biofloc Aeration System and Digester Mixing System |
Bid Summary |
| The work includes upgrading the Biofloc Aeration System and Digester Mixing System and includes the following:
- Demolition of existing blowers and membrane ceramic diffusers including headers, laterals, pipe supports, etc. Installation of new high-speed turbo blowers, tubular membrane fine bubble aeration diffusers, associated piping, instrumentation, and electrical work.
- Demolition of existing digester gas mixing and gas bubbler systems. Installation of new digester pump mixing systems, plunger pump, and radar level measurement instruments, replacement of the digester gas meters, and modification of pressure relief valves and flame arrestors on the digester tanks.
